Now that is a fantastic effect.
You really know your stuff. Great work on the signature design indeed.
It is very original, very detailed, and the amount of effort you put into getting the overall colorflow just right.... exceptional.
I am certainly impressed.
As for the tutorial itself, I would say that for those not well attuned to photoshop, this will be hard to follow. I would suggest making the tutorial itself more detailed in how you went about it.
Some ideas are:
- siting and linking the brushes used
- telling the viewer where certain options are within PS and/or their shortcuts.
- Showing exactly where you planned to erase part of an image
- tell them how you created the gradient map, and where to find the options
- Tell them how to use the Hue/sat tool to get the look you have
It is the small things like this that turn a good tutorial on an amazing effect into an excellent tutorial.

Great job bro. I thought your work turned out really well. I have to say that there are some steps that didn't need to be taken but, all in all, that looks really great. That is an exceptional grunge feel. I'm from Seattle, where grunge started, and I just cant say enough of how well that meshes with the scene here in Seattle. Good work.
